EBooks 101 - New Monthly Class
Our popular eBook 101 workshops are now an ongoing class! The class will take place the fourth Wednesday of every month at 1:00 PM. Want to learn more about the Downloadable Library? Attend this class and we'll try to answer some basic questions. Questions about the downloadable audiobooks are welcome as well. Bring your laptop and/or eReader. Please sign up at the front desk. Upcoming dates are May 23rd, and June 27th at 1:00 PM.

Friends of Lithgow Public Library Family Museum/Park Pass Program
The Youth Services department, with the generous support of the Friends of Lithgow Library, offers passes to the following venues:
Children's Discovery Museum in Augusta (good for a group of up to 4 people for half price)
Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine in Portland (good for a group of up to 4 people for half price)
Coastal Maine Botanical Garden in Boothbay (each pass is good for 1 admission for a child, adult or senior)
Farnsworth Museum in Rockland (good for free admission for two adults and children or grandchildren through the age of 18)
Maine State Museum in Augusta (good for a group of up to 4 people free)
Maine Wildlife Park in Gray (good for a group of up to 7 people for $2.50 per person admission)
This pass is available from April until November.
Owls Head Transportation Museum in Owls Head (good for free admission for 2 adults and their children under age 18)
To take advantage of this program, you must have an unexpired Lithgow Public Library card with fines no larger than $3.00. You can come in person or contact the Youth Services Department to book your pass. Passes are subject to availability.

Lithgow Public Library serves the Capital Area with a wide variety of services and programs. The library holds a collection of around 65,000 books, periodicals, and audiovisual items, along with access to millions of others through Maine InfoNet. A cultural, educational, and recreational focal point for the community, the library offers programming, access to electronic resources, and reference services for all.
