Celebrate Halloween at the library with spooky activities, snacks, prizes, and a costume parade.

An hour of peer-to-peer discussion facilitated by KVCAP. Children are encouraged to attend the PJs at the Library program or stay at home with a caretaker.

Little ones in their pajamas are encouraged to bring pillows and blankets to this hour of stories, songs, and a snack.




Mondays @ 10:00 a.m. | Wiggle Worms
Music, movement, stories, and more for children ages 0 to 5 and their caregivers.

Tuesdays @ 10:00 a.m. | Toddler Time
Our lap sit program helps your child develop language and literacy skills by singing songs, sharing books, and learning nursery rhymes, while interacting with other children and caregivers.

Tuesdays @ 3:00 p.m. | LEGOS at the Library
Free-form LEGO build for children 5 and older.

Tuesdays @ 6:00 p.m. | First LEGO League
Guided by adult coaches, FIRST LEGO League teams research a real-world problem such as food safety, recycling, energy, etc., and are challenged to develop a solution. Using LEGO MINDSTORMS® technology, they must design, build, and program a robot that completes related tasks to compete on a table-top playing field. For children ages 8 to 14.

Wednesdays @ 10:00 a.m. | Family Story Time
A weekly program that readies your child for Kindergarten by sharing stories, educational activities and art projects. For children ages 3-5 and their caregivers.

Wednesdays @ 3:00 p.m. | LEGO Build
Structured LEGO time with a different theme each week. For children 5 and up.

Thursdays @ 10:00 a.m. | Thoughtful Thursday Play
Come join us as we share stories, songs, and fun for children ages 3-5 with their parents or caregivers. Thoughtful Thursdays are all about exploring topics like identifying & managing feelings, learning techniques to focus & calm down, expressing gratitude, and more. Calming activities include yoga, mindful breathing, and arts & crafts.

Fridays @ 10:00 a.m. | Incredible Infants
A weekly program for babies from birth to 1 year and their parents or caregivers. Designed to support babies’ language development and learning by experiencing repetitive songs, lap bounces, finger plays and stories.


1st Mondays of the month @ 6:00 p.m. | Rockin’ Readers
A book group for curious readers age 8 to 12. Parents are welcome to join. Call the library to see what we are reading next and how to get a copy.

1st Mondays of the month @ 7:00 p.m. | Avid Readers
A book group for kids 11 & 12 who enjoy challenging books. Call the library to see what we are reading next and how to get a copy.

1st Thursdays of the month @ 3:30 p.m. | The Lab
STEAM-powered activities for children 6 to 12.

2nd Wednesdays of the month @ 6:00 p.m. | Food For Thought
Children 3 to 8 with an adult are invited to share books, recipes, food, and fun! For this program, each child and parent sign-up to host one session where they: choose food-related books for the group to read together; bring the food as a snack to share; lead a discussion on books and/or recipes; and provide a related activity.

3rd Mondays of the month @ 3:30 p.m. | Barks & Books
Read to your favorite therapy dogs. For readers 6 and older. Registration required.
